It waSN'T SUNNY, AND PEOH WAS NOT VISIBLE LIKE ThEY HAD HOPED...
But the fog? It turned this winter engagement session into something downright dreamy.
Cle Elum, WA is known for a lot of things, and Peoh Point is one of them. When we sat down over coffee to dream up their engagement session, there was only one place they pictured: an open field where Peoh usually towers in the distance.
Normally… on a clear, sunny day.
This was not that day.
January showed up frozen and fog-heavy. I offered to reschedule, but they said, “Let’s just go for it.” So with their daughter in tow, Mackenzie’s mom and dad behind the scenes, and the fog settling in we leaned into the mood and let the landscape do its thing.
To my adventurous couples: trust the vision. Let the moment unfold. Make the best of what you’re given, love each other hard, and have fun.
What I love most about these two is this... they’re not afraid of a little imperfection. They want the real. The raw. The fuzzy horses. The cold air.
And honestly? That’s where the magic lives.
I can't wait for their wedding in September! These horses will be included.
In this next photo.. for context... he's super tall.. like 6'7" and we had fun with that!
